The iHeater system is supposed to be different from regular and conventional heaters and is said to use some new and rather innovative technology.
During the winter time we often find that the heating and electricity bills soar to amounts that can be devastating and you find yourself pondering between freezing or going broke, neither are very good options. Heaters, not only can be expensive in electricity (defeating the purpose of buying them to save on the heating bill), but can also be dangerous to children, animals, and even yourself. Most of us have been burnt on on the metal of space heaters or have an intense fear of setting the house on fire with one wrong move. One such system claims to be safe from these things and is said to do not only this but potentially, even more.
iHeaters use a specific “infrared” technology to generate heat, it’s said that this is not only good for the environment but also reduces the overall running costs in massive amounts.
One of the ways iHeaters claim to be so wonderful for your environment is they don’t suck the moisture out of the air, so you don’t have to feel like you are baking in an oven or sitting in a desert with no water. This illuminates some of the issues with other heaters such as issues with dry skin, and in most of these other heaters air filters will have to be replaced. According to iHeater, their air filters are reusable and come with a lifetime warranty, just in case. A common review on this heater has mentioned that the heat produced by the iHeater isn’t dry but is said to have a “soft and comfortable” warmth to it, like a fuzzy blanket that just came out from the dryer.
One of the iHeater systems is the “IH-1500B Quartz Infrared Portable Heater”, this is said to be the most popular system because it provides the ideal warmth for your room. Some people have even reported they do not need to use their furnace at all, though most of the time the reviews say to use your iHeater in conjunction with your furnace and it will cut down costs. If you can use them without ever having to turn on the furnace then your rooms are either rather isolated or you have found the perfect secret. The iHeater is said to distribute heat evenly among the room, so even if you are closer or further away from the heater you will feel the same temperature, so no more fighting for who gets to sit infront of the heater on those coldest nights, and you don’t have to worry about it being too close and burning your leg, arms, or what ever else you happen to put near it.

The iHeater reviews and claims is that it is extremely safe for children and animals, one such review even said they had their cat sniffing and rubbing the iHeater and was fine, and children can sit close to it without having to worry about any issue of scalding themselves or other serious concerns parents usually have with their child cuddles up next to the heater.
Some peoples luck vary from person to person, and you might find yourself being one of the ones it doesn’t work for but they do have a few money guarantees to look into if you are skeptical.
The iHeater system, specifically the IH 1500 unit uses 11 amps of electricity during operation but decreases to a total of 6 amps when it is heated. It generated between 2000 and 5000 BTU of heat depending on the setting you decide. Voltage required for such a system is 500, 1000, or even 1500 as per the setting that you choose to put it on and this unit weighs in at about 22lbs, but also comes with a set of wheels so even your kids can easily roll it from one room to another. The Thermostat comes with 3 room settingsdepending on how big the room is, you can choose from low, medium and high settings to change the room temperature. The Heating area is said to be about 1500-200 square feet and the live span should be approximately 60000 hours, equivilant to about 15 winters. Bellow is a little more information on iHeaters and their info.
Guarantee
Most people I meet refuse to purchase something like this because there is no ‘Guarantee’ it works, well if you want to do your research you will find out a few key things the iHeater offers, first off a 1 Year Warranty. Meaning if it breaks or has any issues in that first year you can fall back onto the warranty, not to mention they have a Risk Free Money Back Guarantee and FREE shipping. So within the 30 days, that’s about a month, you can find out if this will help you. I suggest buying it about a week into the month, try using it and see if your bill goes down, if it does then its worth keeping it, if not then maybe the iHeater just isn’t for you, just make sure you are accurately using it.

Safety
The iHeater is said to be extremely safe in all of its reviews, it really holds true to the advertisements of being pet and family safe. There is no flames that have engulfed any curious animals and children rough house like they are scrapping for the last food on earth and never ones have they been burnt or damaged (except maybe stubbing a toe) by these machines, it truly is completely safe.
Heating
The heating system is very unique and is something I can appreciate, when it comes to regular heaters it generates heat and pushes it out into the cold air, commonly this heats only about 5 feet in front of the heater and if you get a powerful one it may heat up the room but getting next to the heater is a nightmare, its like walking from a warm house into a blazing inferno. I appreciate the iHeater because it sucks in the already cold heat, and transforms it into heat that it distributes among the room. It uses some copper heating chamber and heats the room from top to bottom withing having that “five foot danger zone”. It also isn’t distracting at late nights when we are trying to sleep in our rooms.
One of the most important things to learn about an iHeater is it is not an end-all, when you use it you want to keep it simultaneously with the heating system you are already using, how ever this shouldn’t come to a shock. As advertised it says you can cut UP to 50% of heating bills, never once did anyone say to me “Hey, Jason, this heater is all you ever need to heat up your house and if you use this you will never pay another heating bill again.” so using common sense should tell us a little hint there, it’s NOT something that is used by itself, you wouldn’t rely on a space heater to heat up your entire house, at least with the iHeater it is above expectations and saves more money then I could have originally imagined. My wife is still beaming about her wise decision to this day, and I have to say that I am thoroughly impressed.
Weight
The weight only is about 22 lbs, but if for some reason this is too much it comes build in with a set of wheels so you can tug it along the house with you or even nudge it with your foot if you find you have an armful of groceries, children, or it mysteriously happened to find itself in your way well moving about your household.
Price
People may stress out when they see the original price, pandering about how that isn’t something they can afford but I have to tell you right now – this is something you can’t afford not to have, its revolutionary in any home and as I stated before my home has a lot of open space and with a few strategic placings we are able to keep the entire house toasty and efficiently heated. So its not about space or how high it is, its about intelligence and common sense. Within less then a year the lower price in many peoples bills commonly pays off the price of the unit multiple times over, this is a long term investment and not a ‘quick fix’.

Setting it up
As I said before setting up your iHeater is a matter of trial and error, but a rule of thumb I’ve gathered is I set my thermostat a little bellow what I set my heaters at, so when my heaters aren’t doing the job by themselves then the heat will kick on for about ten to fifteen minutes and help boost it up to par, and then the iHeaters do the rest. The iHeaters not only make it so my heat kicks on a lot less but even when using my regular heat seats and surfaces would be cold, and dogs would rather sleep in our beds then in their own.
Other Tips
Its clear to me many of the people who buy these things don’t know how to work them and complain prematurely, no one wants to do a little work and experimentation to find out the perfect temperature and settings for their home, but all I have to say is doing this is something you can never regret. For a few hours a day testing and switching things around you can save hundreds of dollars.
Some things to remember is put your iHeater in a place where you won’t trip over it in the middle of the night, but put it in a place thats open and not secluded. It will still heat but not as well, so don’t put it behind the coach or under the desk, place it in an open space so it can more efficiently heat up the room.
User timers, there’s no reason for them to be on 24/7. If you are going on a trip you don’t need it on so you can heat the house while you are away, how ever when we leave the pets at home I like to leave the play room picked up and one going in there so the dogs can mosey on in there when they find themselves a bit chilled, and when I come home from trips I usually find them in that room or eating so I say its a success. For most household how ever turn them off when you leave, and the same with the heating of your house, turn it down if you aren’t using it, this will surely help you save quite a bit of money.
All in all the iHeater was a resounding success with some diligence and trial and error, and this isn’t something I would ever want to go back on and with the amount of money that I’m already saving I can cut a few hours out of work to come home and read to my kids at night, not only is this product such a success with me but my family is already catching on to the savings and intelligent decision of buying an iHeater. I hope this will help other families and maybe other men out there working all day just to keep his family fed and warm, let this be your guide and good luck.
My husband and I have been looking into getting an iHeater for the cold winter months. Our heating bills are through the roof. We used a kerosene heater to help out with our electric bills. Not going to use one next winter, now that I know more about the iHeater.
OH WOW! I absolutely love my iHeater. We purchased one last winter. It saved us termendously on our electric bills. It is easy to use and just wheels from room to room. I would suggest the iHeater to everyone!
The iHeater sounds like a great idea. We are looking for ways to save money on our heating bill. We also have a baby and 2 dogs, so have always been leary of space heaters. The iHeater might be a buy for next winter!
My cousin was telling me last winter to get an iHeater. He purchased one, and used it all last winter. He said he really noticed a difference in his electric bills. I am going to listen to him for next winter, and save on my HIGH HIGH electric bills for next winter.
Oh…This will be a big help. We have been using space heaters in my kids rooms. And I do not like to use them.(not safe) I will be looking into getting one of these. Seem very safe and I like the idea it has wheels to move around. Thanks for sharing this with me1 I will feel much more at ease with an iHeater.
